Ambo Magic is a London-based DJ and host performing across the UK and internationally. His experience spans London club residencies, destination weddings, private celebrations and events for global brands. Every set brings together broad musical knowledge, creative mixing and a feel for the people in front of him.

Ambo is a huge purveyor for music of his South Asian heritage promoting awareness to new generations and new ears that may not have heard before, introducing these sounds to other DJs around the world, launching the DJcity South Asian music catalogue, curating a monthly playlist alongside a team of talented DJs producers from the DJcity team. As a radio presenter and producer for London’s AsianFX and Lyca Radio, Ambo has interviewed Bollywood superstars, such as Shah Rukh Khan & Badshah, to homegrown talent such as Navin Nudra.

Ambo called me beforehand to properly understand the details of the evening, the theme and, most importantly, the kind of music I wanted. I had a very long list of genres and songs I wanted to cover, which definitely wasn’t an easy, especially for a Bollywood-themed party where I was quite specific about what I wanted played. Somehow, Ambo managed to bring everything together seamlessly.

On the day, Ambo arrived early, was incredibly professional and brought such great energy from the moment he arrived. He also made the effort to speak to my guests and get a feel for the room. The feedback from everyone was amazing with so many people commented on how great the music was, and the dance floor stayed busy throughout the night. He managed to cover everything I had asked for, despite the huge and varied playlist, including genres that don’t necessarily mix easily.

Anuj was a real highlight of the evening. With very little notice or preparation, he stepped in to present my award ceremony and completely nailed it. He was funny, engaging and had a brilliant way of bringing everyone together. My friends and family were genuinely impressed and several people commented to me afterwards about how good his hosting was and how much it added to the evening.

I was genuinely so impressed with both of them. They were professional, energetic, accommodating and, most importantly, understood exactly what was needed to make the night special.

If you’re looking for a DJ and MC who will go above and beyond and elevate your event, I would highly recommend DJ Ambo Magic and Anuj. They were fantastic!
